Our Corporate Security & Responsibility, Communications, Human Resources, Procurement & Value Creation and Real Estate teams work collaboratively to drive our corporate strategy forward.
The Labour Relations team is a pivotal member of the Corporate Services group, made up of several advisers with knowledge of the various Bell collective agreements. Their main mandate is to support the teams of Network and IT, Customer Operations, Field Services and Bell Business Markets by offering exceptional service for issues and initiatives related to labour relations.
Reporting directly to the Senior Consultant, Labour Relations, the Project Manager, Labour Relations will work in a dynamic environment and help drive change across multiple teams via continuous improvement and the roll-out of new initiatives. The Project Manager will collaborate with Labour Relations colleagues, Corporate Services partners and operations clients to drive and support common organizational goals. The Project Manager will be expected to implement initiatives across different teams in line with labour relations strategies. Efficient project management and program alignment across the various business units will be a critical part to the success of this mandate. The candidate will also be expected to lead and implement efficiencies within the Labour Relations team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic projects to diverse teams to enable the achievement of business goals
- Build rigorous project plans to ensure the successful execution of the projects
- Establish and execute communication, change management and follow-up strategies for various labour relations initiatives
- Evaluate labour relations tools and processes through in-depth analysis to identify improvements and make changes to drive continuous efficiency
- Build presentations for leadership / stakeholder teams to present ideas in a clear and succinct way
- Provide on-going guidance and support to team members and stakeholders to drive change and adoption of new initiatives
Critical Qualifications / Competencies:
The successful candidate must have / be able to:
- Excellent project management and change management capabilities with the ability to deliver initiatives end-to-end
- Strong communication / presentation skills (both written and verbal)
- Proven analytical / problem solving skills with the ability to synthesize information and make fact-based recommendations
- Partnering and influencing skills with team members and diverse stakeholders to ensure alignment with business needs and achievement of objectives
Preferred Qualifications
- Planning and organizational skills with utmost attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task effectively, assess urgency and identify priorities
- Thrive in a fast-paced dynamic environment and be eager to contribute to new programs, procedures, ideas and practices while adopting those in place
- Experience in human resources and labour relations
- Advanced knowledge of Power Point, Microsoft Excel
- Knowledge of Network, IT, Customer Operations, Field Services and Bell Business Markets an asset
- Bilingual (English and French)
